Mr. Joseph E. Capachin

Joseph E. Capachin, age 72, passed away in the Milford Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 1, 2015. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on December 8, 1942, he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna Elizabeth (Lukacewicz) Capachin. He was raised in East Walpole, Massachusetts and graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1960. He continued his education at Bentley College, earning his Associates Degree with a focus in Accounting in 1962. He spent his working career with Van Buren Company which later became Atco and then Hillco, retiring in 2004 as the Plant Manager. He stayed on as a consultant after his retirement. In his retirement, Joe enjoyed taking various day trips around New England, cooking, hiking, and taking photos. Beloved husband of Alice W. (Knowles) Capachin. Loving father of Jennifer A. and her husband Gregory B. Belsky of Easton and Julie A. Capachin of Franklin. Cherished grandfather of Camden Joseph Belsky of Easton. Brother of the late Sigmund A. "Ziggy" Capachin, the late Mary Ann LaCivita and the late Dorothy R. Capachin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Joe's Life Celebration on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 9-11 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Funeral Home Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Walpole.
