Joseph Catalone Obituary

Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Hazel (Boome) Catalone.
Joseph was a Longshoreman for the Oswego Port Authority for 13 years and retired from Anheuser-Busch. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Jane (Leavens) Catalone, sons Cussie Joseph, Michael Paul (Jennifer), Martin Douglas (Melissa), and Matthew David (Trish) Catalone, grandchildren, Kaitlyn Catalone, Vincent Catalone, Devin Catalone, Savannah Catalone, Connor Allen, Isabella Currier, and Timothy Currier, as well as his best friend, Benny the Bassett Hound.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was predeceased in death by his sister, Faith Scheirer.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 2-4 pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street, Oswego. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
