Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Samuel Anthony and Mildred (nee Bartolomeo) Centrone, Joseph was a resident of Marlton for over 40 years. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Prior to retiring, Joseph was an aeronautical engineer for the Boeing Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for many years. His love of airplanes followed through in his personal life as well.
Beloved husband of Doris A. Pullen Centrone and the late Rosemary Centrone; loving father of the late Patricia Centrone and Joseph Centrone, Jr.; stepfather of Deb Caporale (Daniel) and James Pullen III (Stephanie); dear brother of Gloria Donnon West (Doug) and the late Samuel Centrone (Phyllis); cherished grandfather Georgia Centrone and step grandfather of Crystal Weiss, John Vanderipe (Corinne), Shaun Vanderipe, Shannon Baer, Thomas Baer and 1 great grandchild; loving uncle of Diane, Dolores, John and the late Samuel III, Debbie Vesneski (Tom) and Maria Sala (Tom) and their children, Ryan and Alex Vesneski and Nick and Michael Sala.
Family and friends are invited to attend Joseph's viewing on Wednesday, 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Thursday, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, where the Funeral Ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM. Entombment at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, New Jersey.
