Joseph J. Cilani Jr.

Joseph "Joe" J. Cilani, Jr., of Solvay, NY, passed away peacefully Friday November 21, 2025 surrounded by his family. Joe proudly served his country after being drafted into the U.S. Army during World War II, an experience that shaped his lifelong sense of duty, gratitude, and perseverance. Following his service, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Niagara University and went on to build a life rooted in hard work, faith, and devotion to those he loved.
Joe was predeceased by his beloved wife, Alma S. Pellizzari, in 2017.
He leaves behind his children, Michael (Laura) Cilani, of Arizona and Cynthia (Dave) Procopio, of North Carolina, who will forever cherish his steady guidance and unconditional love. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to David J. Procopio and Cecilia A. Procopio, of North Carolina, and Michael L. Cilani, of Arizona.
There are no calling hours. Private services and burial with Military Honors were held at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay, NY has care of arrangements.
