Joseph Michael Cimino

Joseph Michael Cimino, 81, of Westminster, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Carroll Hospital Center. Joseph was born on February 3, 1941, in Baltimore to the late Salvatore and Lena Barazi Cimino. He was the cherished husband of Audrey Soutiere Cimino, his wife of 46 years. Joseph earned an Associate of Arts degree from Essex Community College and was a trust banker for much of his career. In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by a daughter, two grandchildren, four stepsons and their families. Joseph was a parishioner at St. John Catholic Church in Westminster. He loved the arts and was an accomplished actor and musician, prominent in the Baltimore-Washington theatre corridor. He was a member of AFTRA-SAG, performing locally in many theatres, including the McDaniel College Theatre on the Hill and Towson University. Joseph was active in the Masterworks Chorale and played clarinet in the Baltimore Colts Marching Band for many years. He enjoyed cooking and was so very happy to live in Carroll County. In addition to his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his brother, Sam Cimino. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 11:30 am. Interment will be private.
