...And a Light, never to be extinguished, moves onward to a new and wonderful world, where it awaits the arrival of all those lights, who will follow with certainty one wondrous day. Thank you Joe, for your love, for your contributions to your family, your friends, and the world. Rest in peace.

Dear Aunt Julie, Chris, Peter & Kevin, We are with you in thought & prayer. We will miss Uncle Joe so much.
I have so many wonderful memories of him, especially when you came to the farm & Ed & Dave had Steven on the zip line & pulled up to the tree & nailed the timing so he flew by just inches from the windshield of your tan Volkswagen. Your faces, I will never forget. Uncle Joe always had a joke to tell & never was without his camera. One time he told me that if he could have a little girl, he would pick me! That has stayed with me all of my life. He always made me feel so special. I love him so & always will.

Julie and Family, Matt and I look back and have such fond memories of Joe at Calvary Temple. His tireless efforts in every capacity he volunteered are more than admirable. His humble, loving, and caring ways are always first and foremost in our remembrance of him. We know that Joe will be missed here on Earth. Heaven has gained a truly dedicated man of Christ.

Dear Aunt Julie, Chris, Kevin & Peter,

As you well know I loved Uncle Joe dearly and have a lifetime of wonderful memories with him and your family. My favorite memory is the white and red checked socks I bought for him in 1970 from Lord & Taylor's. I gave them to him as a joke but he chose to wear them on every special occasion including weddings, funerals, birthdays etc. and made a point of showing them to me. And, although they started as a joke, they became a very special bond between a very loving Uncle and me.

He will be sorely missed not only by us, his family, and friends but by the many strangers whose lives he so lovingly touched.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers and Uncle Joe will always live in my heart and memory.

God Bless, Marialice
