Joseph Del Genio Obituary

Born in Boston on April 11, 1940, he was the son of the late Graziano and Lucy (Reppucci) Del Genio. Joseph was raised and educated in Malden. He also served our country with the National Guard. Joseph had a long career as a carpenter and was a member of Local Union 540. Joseph enjoyed ballroom dancing with his wife for over 30 years. He was a gifted gardener and won several awards at the Topsfield Fair for his harvests.
In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by two children, Julie Hogan of Danvers and Louie Del Genio of Peabody, four grandchildren, Erin and Patrick Hogan and Ryan and Natalie Del Genio. He was predeceased by two sisters, Lucille Ostuni and Marie Moore.
His funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of your choice.
