Joseph DiGregorio Sr., 77, of Transfer, PA, passed away on January 6, 2025, at the UPMC-Mercy Burn Unit following injuries sustained from an accident.
He was born in Greenville, PA on April 22, 1947, to Samuel DiGregorio and Jean (Gill) Digregorio.
Joseph was a self employed truck driver and retired from for the Reynolds school district as their maintenance custodian.
He married Margie MacDonald on March 11, 1966, she survives at home. They were married for 58 years.
He was a member of the Italian Home Club (Former President and Trustee) and the Greenville Moose Lodge #276.
Joseph loved fishing at Weslemkoon Lake, Canada, with family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, gardening and going on cruise vacations with family and friends. He never missed the chance to cheer on all his grandchildren and was always there to support them.
Joseph is survived by: Son, Joseph (April ) DiGregorio Jr. of Transfer, PA; Daughter-In-Law, Cheri DiGregorio; Five Brothers, Alex (Jean ) DiGregorio of Westmiddlesex, PA, Samuel DiGregorio, Jr. of Napul, John DiGregorio of Greenville, PA, David DiGregorio of Greenville, PA, Richard (Tracy) DiGregorio of Greenville, PA; Five Sisters, Loretta (Patrick) Layer of Tiffon, OH, Philomena (Steven) Buckley of Greenville, PA, Emma (Jim) Treat of Beggs, OK, Mary (Dave) Winner of Conneaut, PA, Christina DiGregorio of NC; Also surviving are five beloved grandchildren.
Joseph was preceded in death by: Son, Todd M DiGregorio; Father, Samuel DiGregorio, Sr.; Mother, Jean DiGregorio; Sister, Virginia DiGregorio; Brother, Paul DiGregorio;
