JOSEPH E. "JOE BUCK" DRAGOO JR. 71, of Louisville passed on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 with his family by his side. Born in Louisville, he was a Retired Captain for the Louisville Fire Department. Joe was a proud Alumni of Flaget High School, Class of 1969 and was also an avid Louisville Cardinal Fan, Go Cards! Joe enjoyed life to the fullest by skydiving, driving race cars, hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling, and playing pool (he was damn good at it too) while having an ice cold double bubble. The one thing he enjoyed most in life though, was his time spent with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Dragoo Sr. and Ann Linton Sherrard.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 42 years, Rhoda Dragoo (Tooley); His Son Joel Dragoo (Kristi); Daughter Jessica Dragoo (Alyson); Sister Janice Watson; and his brother Chris Kinney. Along with his immediate family, he will be missed greatly by his brothers and sisters in law, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as the many friends he made through out life.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 12-7 pm at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home 3800 Bardstown Rd. with his Funeral Service to begin after Visitation at 7 pm at the Funeral Home.
