Joe was born to the late Luvena (Ferguson), and Wayward Duvall in Louisville, KY. He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran, retired from Louisville Metro Public Works, and formerly employed at Fisher Equipment Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Diane Duvall.
Joe is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia (Fisher) Duvall; children, Toni Duvall, and Joseph Duvall Jr.; sisters, Pam Bosse (Rick), and Cheri Reichle; grandchildren, Jacob Wilkens (Paige), and Brayden Duvall; great-grandchildren, Remi, Maddox, and Beckett Wilkins, and Asher Sheets, and many loving nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home.
