Mr. Joseph LaRue Evans, age 86, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at UAB Medical Center.
Plans for a memorial service in Illinois will be announced at a later date.
Mr. Evans was born in Illinois on November 16, 1938, to Joe & Irene Wilson Evans. He retired from owning and operating his construction company.
Mr. Evans is survived by his wife: Marilyn Evans of Boaz, Son: Kevin Evans of Boaz, Grandchildren: Andrew Evans, Angela Evans, Tyler Evans, Grant Evans, and Amanda Eghtedari, and Brother: William Evans of Illinois. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Joe & Irene Evans, Daughter: Kathy Evans, and Sister: Barbara Sidebottom.
