I only just today learned of Joe's passing. It always hurts to lose a loved one, be they young or old. I met Joe way back in 1968 when I was only 13 years old. I also got to know his son (Joe Jr.). I became friends with them both. Joe Sr. was one of the NICEST persons I have ever known. He would bend over backwards to help a person whenever they needed it. He was kind and generous as well. And such a very, very hard working man at his service station business to ensure that his family was very well taken care of. Joe had a ton of friends, and I know that he is being missed by each one of them. God bless you Joe and your sweet wife Dolores whom I know you are with now. I wish you both eternal peace and happiness...
