Joseph Stewart Flory

Joseph Stewart Flory, known to most as Stew, returned to heaven on Sunday, January 4th 2026 at the age of 57. He served his community for over 30 years as a reliable and experienced mover and business owner. Stew was a humble and honest man who always supported his friends and family. His dedication to others was obvious, from putting his daughter's needs always above his own, to dutifully taking care of his mother, to the casual yet familiar "Hey man!" he'd use to brighten the days of strangers. His witty humor, unwavering strength, and the warmth he brought to every room will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his daughter Jocelyn, his significant other Dina, mother Joan, brother Erik, sisters Liz and Lora, three nieces, and one nephew.

Join us in celebrating Stewart's life at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, Florida on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm (EST). A second service will be held in the coming weeks near his childhood home in Northern Virginia.
