Joseph W. Forget

Joseph W. Forget, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2016 at Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster surrounded by his loving family after a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Cutler) Forget who died in 1991. He was born in Lowell on August 31, 1927, the son of the late Napoleon and Alice (Roy) Forget. Joseph served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was employed as a Machinist for Impco Company in Nashua, NH for 30 years. He was a member of the Nashua Elks Club and the Lafayette Club of Nashua, NH. He is survived by two daughters, Diane Flathers and Partner William Turner of Fitchburg and Mildred Losh and Partner Russ Plummer of Newmarket, NH.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a son, Norman D. Forget and a daughter Kristine E. Forget. He also leaves a dear friend, Margaret "Peggy" Turcotte of Nashua, NH. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
