I was greatly saddened when I learned of Joe´s passing. He was a wonderful friend to many of us in the SLUH Class of `70. I know he will be missed, and we are a little better for knowing him.

Joe was one of the brightest guys in our SLUHigh 70 class. He was a successful businessman, a contributor to our community, a fine husband, father, friend, grandfather--and a SLIHigh 70 classmate. Earlier this year I drove over to Joe's home we took a walk around his neighborhood. We talked about life, and his college days and his courting of Liza, and his love of his children. I met Liza and she joined us in conversation. Both really looked forward to visits with their grandson Aidan--when he'd stay at their house. Joe lived a good and loving life. Rest in peace.
