Joseph L. "Joey" Genzling

Joseph "Joey" L. Genzling, 62, of Troy, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov.4, 2025. He was born on April 10, 1963 in Troy, Missouri to Paul and Evelyn (Seabourne) Genzling. Joey grew up in Moscow Mills along with his three older sisters and graduated from Troy Buchanan High School. He soon began working for the Lincoln Cty. Shelter Workshop. In fact, he had worked there over 42 years and enjoyed the people he worked with. Some of his pastimes included camping, fishing, shooting pool and especially bowling. It was not unusual for him to bowl a 200 game. He will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his three sisters: Mary Guthrie of Warrenton, Doreen and husband Roger Macom of Winfield, Elizabeth and husband Chuckie Marion of St. Charles, several nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location. Pastor Eugene Rahmier to officiate.
