Joseph F. Beloved husband to Josephine Gerace (nee Gangi). Loving Father of Gina (Alfredo) Fagnani and Barbara (John) Clark. Pop Pop of Felicia (Michael) Lamplugh and Marc Fagnani. Great-grandfather of Joseph Lamplugh. Brother of Anthony (the late Rosemary) Gerace and Marian (Albert) Pellecchia. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Joe was a family man and always put his family first. He was married to his wife, Josephine, for 60 years. His daughters, Gina and Barbara, even as adults, still went to him when they needed his fatherly guidance. He welcomed his son in laws, Al and John, into his family with open arms. His grandchildren, Felicia and Marc, and now his great grandson, Joseph, were the light of his world. One of the special moments of his life was when he gave the blessing at his granddaughter's wedding and welcomed, Michael, his newest grandson, into his family. He loved when his family was all together. He always was the one to crack a joke and make the table laugh but always had an ear to listen.
Joe also enjoyed his work at Epiphany of Our Lord Church. He was always eager to decorate the church for a holiday or help plan a special event or mass. He always looked forward to working side by side with Fr. Casey and Cindy, who quickly became a part of his family.
Joe was always a faithful man and lead by his example. He always helped people find the path to trust in God and the power of prayer. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to his VIEWING Tuesday June 17, 2025 10AM to 11AM at the Epiphany of Our Lord Church (Lower Church), 11th & Jackson Sts. Followed by his Funeral Mass at 11AM. INT.
