Joe was employed by Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for over 28 years and was an active member of Eastside Assembly of God.
He is preceded in death by his Father James Godiwn, Mother Noma Godwin, Daughter Jennifer Godwin; Mother in-law Iva Sipes
He is survived by his loving wife Jean Godwin of 38 years; Daughter Cindy (Terra) Tucker; Son Joel (Donna) Godwin; Daughter Jena (Randy) Bradley; his sister Gail Taylor; Granddaughter Kayla (PJ) Muller; Grandson Troy Ward; Granddaughter Audrey (Wyatt) Tullos; Granddaughter Lauren (Patrick) Seifert; Granddaughter Farrah (Josh) Wilson; Granddaughter Sherron Thomas; Grandson Andrew (Alia) Weekley; Grandson Matthew (Keyana) Weekley; Grandson Deuce Godwin; Grandson Raylan Bradley; Great-grand daughter Annabella Muller; Great-grandson Lincoln Muller; Great-granddaughter Emy Seifert; Great-grandson Jackson Philyaw; Great-Grandson Luke Wilson; Great-Grandson Greyson Macks; Great-grandson James Seifert; Great-granddaughter Annette Tullos; Great-granddaughter Lexi Macks; Great-grandson Korbin Seifert; Great-Grandson Liam Wilson; Great-grandson Cedar Weekley.
A memorial service will be held at Eastside Assembly of God on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 at 3PM. 2990 Kingsfield rd, Pensacola Fl.
In lieu of flowers, for those that wish, donations can be made to Eastside Assembly of God.
