Joseph C. Golson Passed away on October 8, 2024, peacefully in his home at the age of 81. Joe was born on October 27, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arthur Bond Golson and Osie Biggs Golson. He married Sharon Lloyd Golson on May 14, 1964.
Joe was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He had a strong work ethic and dedication to the people he worked with, making lifelong friends. Joe was never satisfied with sitting still. If he was not working at his job, he was creating masterpieces in his woodshop, enjoying the outdoors hunting and fishing with Blaine, driving Jennifer around in his truck with the stereo blasting his favorite song, or golfing when he could. In his later years he continued his love for woodworking and bringing puzzles to life by framing them for his family.
Joe is survived by wife Sharon Golson, son Blaine Golson (wife Monica Golson) and daughter Jennifer Golson. Four grandkids Chelsea, Tyler, Jayden, and Ashlea. Three great grandkids Logan, Lexi, and Lane.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents Authur and Osie Golson, sister Betty, and brothers Dick, Grady, Wes, and David.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday October 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Holladay Cemetery. 4900 South Memory Lane Holladay, Utah 84117.
