Dear Mrs. Grabinski and family,

I was one of many of his students at Hartford Tech while I was attempting a career change into electronics. As an adult learner, I was impressed by his easy going manner, while being able to get the important points across to the students. While I never did make the career switch, my interest in electronics has continued. In his memory I have purchased his book and will read it on vacation, as well a remembering him as I read other books on electronics, My condolences to all of you.

What I'll always remember is taking Joe for a ride in my red mini-van...and convincing him that he should run for Mayor and that we could get him elected! He cared about his town and loved being it's leader. He was a good Mayor, a good friend, and a good man. I shall miss him.

My mom worked with Joe & Maddy on many a GOP Campaign. I enjoyed working with Joe knowing his UpBeat Attitude never stopped.

We worked on films for the Studio, on the Cable Advisory Council, saw him take on Government first hand as the Mayor. Joe was the example to the never give up, never quit attitude.

I am the better person for knowing him. Always giving & educating at the same time.


He once told me... If you want to be in Politics you can Not have an ego.

His family was his biggest pride.
