A Home-going Celebration will be held for Mr. Joseph Charles (Joe-Joe) Green, Sr. 77, at 12:00 Noon Friday, November 28, 2025 at Union Baptist Church in Saint Martinville, LA with Rev. Darren Benoit Pastor and Rev. Leroy Banks, Eulogist.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9:00 A.M. Friday at Union Baptist Church until time of service.

A second service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church in Jeanerette, LA with Rev. Terry Lee Gray, Pastor and Rev. Warren J. Green, Jr. Eulogist.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Morning Pilgrim Baptist Church.

He will await the resurrection at Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings, LA on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 12:30 P.M. with a motorcade leaving Fletcher Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.

A native of Jeanerette, LA and resident of Parks, LA. He departed this life on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 3:05 P.M at Saint Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge, LA.

He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Saint Martinville, LA where he served as a Deacon, In addition, he was a graduate of Francis Marion Boley High School in Jeanerette, LA.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 54 years, Beverly Faye Sparrow Green of Saint Martinville, LA; one son, Joseph Charles Green, Jr. of Saint Martinville, LA; one grandson, Joseph Charles Green III(Keisha) ; one great-grandchild; Joseph Charles Green IV,; three brothers, Rev. Warren John Green, Jr. of Dallas, TX , Rev. Lionel Green ( Minister Lisa) of Leesville, LA; and Kenneth J. Young (Vallory) of Baton Rouge, LA; three sister, Daisy Lee Green and Carolyn Green Goffard of Houston, TX and Dentrica Green Hatten (Joseph) of Dallas, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Warren Joseph Green, Sr. and Ellen Lee Wise Green; one grand-daughter, Jacqueline Green.

Active Pallbearers will be Chris Sparrow, Michael Sparrow, Jermaine Sparrow, Andrew Goffard, Joseph Hatten, and Joseph C. Green, III.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rev. Lionel Green, Donald Sparrow, Sr., Joseph C. Green, Jr., Wayne Sparrow, Rev. Warrant J. Green, Jr. and Jerral Sparrow, Sr.
