Joe was an outwardly easy-going guy but also fiercely competitive. He would tackle new tasks or experiences head on and was never afraid to ask questions or get your opinion either professionally or personally. I'll never forget how he reacted when I suggested to get a baby swing for his daughter to help with keeping her relaxed throughout the day. Joe thought this was the greatest invention known to man! I still smile to myself when I think of his reaction. I really enjoyed being around Joe and will definitely miss him at out lunch gatherings. I hope he is able to watch over his girls as we all know they were his world.

Joe and I shared a cubicle pod at HP. I loved hearing all of his doting dad experiences. Joe was a top-notch listener, never raised his voice nor was demeaning to others in my presence, took exception pride in skills, and just the kind of guy you want to be like. Fare well Joe. My heart aches for the ladies in your life, but I hope the eternities can explain why they need you more.
