Joseph "Joe" Handlin

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!!

My heart is aching for the passing of Joe! Joe and I were great friends and shared similar paths in life with friends and family. We grew up in school together, worked together at both banks. We joked about how our birthdays were days apart. He was a great friend and like a brother to me.

We sat back to back in the same row when we worked at Discover card Laughing and learning how to make our careers better for our families.

The world lost an angel! I am incredibly sorry for you all and will pray for continued strength and peace as you try to navigate through the days.

Marion, Krista and Sean I am thinking of you as pillars of strength.

I am so very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I worked at Discover with Joe in customer service. His mom was my trainer. He always made me laugh. My heart and thoughts go out to his family, wife and kids. I am truly sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you all.

I worked with Joe at Discover, he was my manager and I recently saw him at another coworkers funeral. I hadn't seen him in years, we greeted each other and talked about the days we worked together. He was my manager in customer service, and I would hook him up with music he liked to listen too on cd. I reminded him he was the reason I pursued a different position in the company and got a promotion. I thanked him for having that confidence in me and giving me that push. Sending condolences to the family and prayers.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
