Joseph Hoffman, Jr, 53, passed away unexpectedly on December 18, 2025. He was the partner of Ivy Colon. They shared 3 years together.
Born in Reading, PA, he was the beloved son of Audrey, and the late Joseph Hoffman, Sr. Joseph is survived by a sister Amy Seifrit (Robert Seifrit Jr.). Joseph worked as a handyman, doing various jobs and projects. He enjoyed woodworking, listening to music, and watching movies. He was an avid hockey fan, also having a love for football. He had a love for the outdoors. Joe was a great pool player. He had a kind heart, always trying to help a friend or family member when he was able to.
Those cherishing Joseph's memory are his children: Joseph Hoffman, III (Amy Beth), Shelby Barr (Matthew), Kaitlyn Egolf (Kevin), Samantha Shurr, Heather Hoffman, Aaliyah Torres, and DiAngelo Torres. Joseph will be sadly missed by his grandchildren which he loved so very much; Dominic, Kami Lynn, Alexis Marie, Leonard III, Luke, Matthew Barr Jr., Miracle, Lily, Synstra, Emily, and Aria; as well as his nephew: Jared Siefert (Kentrice) He was predeceased by his niece, Carrie Seifrit and a grandson, Liam.
Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's honor to COCA (Council On Chemical Abuse) foundation and or AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention).
