Joseph M. Jefferies

Joseph M. Jefferies was born June 18, 1949 in Chester, Pennsylvania. He passed away August 12, 2022 in Pensacola, Florida. Joseph served in the United States Navy for 6 years. He worked at Ingalls shipyard as an electrician until 2000. He loved dolphins and wolves. He also loved to read. He educated himself about historical events and could recite numerous verses of Scripture like the back of his hand. He was baptized at the age of 10 at Warrington Baptist Church. He will be missed by his loved ones.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bertha Jefferies, his brother-in-law Kenneth D. Penny, and his niece Valerie Blair Deal.
He is survived by his sisters, Jacqueline Penny, Beverly J. Deal and husband John, his nephews Timothy and Eddie Penny, and his great niece Jayden B. Deal.
There will be a graveside service for Joseph Jefferies Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Barrancas National Cemetery with a 10:00 AM roll time from Faith Chapel Funeral Home South.
