Joseph (Joe) Murphy Sanders, 58, of Casper, Wyoming passed away on March 4, 2023 in Midwest, Wyoming. He was a loving father, grandfather, husband, son, friend, and so much more.

Joe was born May 5,1964 in Casper, Wyoming to Mary and Herbert (Leon) Sanders. He graduated from high school in Casper, Wyoming in 1983. He then went on to WyoTech to earn a certificate in Automotive Body Fender and Paint. He also obtained a certificate for Welding at Tiger Welding.

His family was his pride and joy, as were his motorcycles. His latest joy was a 2018 RoadGlide. He spent 35 wonderful years with his former wife Michelle. Together they had three children and welcomed eight grandchildren throughout the years.

Everyone who met Joe would agree he had a kind heart and an offbeat sense of humor. He left an imprint on everyone he met and was a friend to all. Eskimo Joe was a brother to many and spent many of his years involved in clubs. You could always find him with a coke in his hand, hat on his head, and socks on his feet.

He is survived by Herbert (Leon) Sanders; his mother, Mary Sanders; his sisters, Teri and LeAn Sanders; his daughter, Amanda (Mandy) Lorenz, her husband, Brad, and their children, Averie and Brynlee; his son, Joseph (Joey) Sanders, his wife, Jordan and their children, Mackenzie, Jayce and Braxton; his son, Jacob Sanders, his wife, Brittany and their children, Kaylee Jo, Payslee (Fred) and Bentley; his former spouse, Michelle Sanders; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and an aunt.

He is preceded in death by Red Murphy (Gramps), Dorothy Murphy (Mamaw) and multiple close friends (brothers).

Memorial services will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (2300 E. 15th St.,Casper, Wyoming) on March 13, 2023, at 10 AM with an interment of ashes at Highland Cemetery (1860 E. 12th St., Casper, Wyoming) and celebration of life to follow at Prince of Peace.
