Joseph Jurich Obituary
Joseph Matthew Jurich, age 78, of Biloxi, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023
Joey was a lifetime resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He graduated from Biloxi High School in 1963 and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. Joey was the owner and operator of his own business, Sportabout, for 40+ years. He was a life-time member of the Slavonian Lodge and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Joey is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. and Anastasia (Susie) Pitalo Jurich; and grandparents, Matre and Mary Pitalo and Dominic and Catherine Jurich.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Elder Jurich; children, Scotty (Sue Cruse) Jurich and Sheree (Anthony) Trosclair; siblings, Davey (Terry) Jurich and Julie (Sonny) Wade; grandchildren, Bailey and Trey Trosclair, Micheal (Anna) Hill, Kinney Lynn Jurich; and great grandchild, Berkely Anne Hill.
Visitation will begin at St. Michael Catholic Church in Biloxi on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
