Joseph J. "Joe" Kaluski Jr., 49, of Westbrook beloved husband of Rebecca Shough Kaluski passed away on October 17, 2022 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Loving father of Brooke and Ava Kaluski both of Westbrook. Brother of Michele (Dave) Teodoro of North Branford. Uncle of Amanda and Alexa Teodoro. Joe was born in New Haven on February 18, 1973 son of Joseph "Jay" Kaluski Sr. of East Haven formerly of North Branford and the late Lucy Ann Tondalo Kaluski. At the time of his death, Joe was employed by the Westbrook Elks #1784 as a caterer and bartender.
Family and friends are invited to go DIRECTLY to St. Ambrose Parish at St. Augustine Church, 30 Caputo Rd., North Branford SATURDAY morning to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call at the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven FRIDAY from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a celebration of life and fundraiser immediately following the church service at the Westbrook Elks #1784 142 Seaside Ave., Westbrook, CT. we are shocked and saddened to hear of Joe´s passing..
we met him at the Singing Bridge and from that first day we met him we knew what an awesome person he was and we went every Saturday and sometimes Sundays for breakfast..
we had great conversations and many laughs..
Joe will definitely be missed..

I have know Joey since I was 16 working at Jay and Lucy's. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor who I loved talking to. I'm am so saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences go out to Becky and the kids, Michele and her family and Jay.

Oh my Jay, so sorry to hear this. What a great kid, he was in my religous intruction class at ST. Augustine. I just loved him.
