Joseph Kaskiewicz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Farmer & Dee Funeral Home on Jan. 6, 2026.
Joseph J. Kaskiewicz, age 83, a resident of Tewksbury for over 50 years, formerly of Medford, passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
He was the beloved husband of Denise M. (Pope) Kaskiewicz, with whom he would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on February 8, 2026.
Born in Supraisl, Bialystok, Poland on March 19, 1942, he was the son of the late Anthony Kaskiewicz and the late Jadwiga (Stefanski) Kaskiewicz.
In 1949, he came to the United States and resided in Cambridge until moving to Somerville.
He attended local schools including St. Hedwig Parochial School and graduated from Somerville High School in 1960.
Following high school, he attended Northeastern University night school, where he earned an associate degree.
Prior to retiring, he was employed by the Digital and Honeywell Companies, where he worked as a computer information manager.
Second only to his love for his family, including many adored cats, Joseph loved bowling. He was an accomplished ten-pin bowler and a recognized member of the Professional Bowlers Association since 1984. He enjoyed competing in area tournaments at the former Brunswick Lanes in Lowell and Boston Bowl in Dorchester.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Ann M. DiSanto, of Tewksbury and his grandson, Anthony J. DiSanto.
All are invited to attend his graveside service to be held on Monday, January 12th, at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget Cemetery, Great Road, Maynard, MA. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Massachusetts General Hospital Kidney Transplant Program, 165 Cambridge Street, Suite 301, Boston, MA 02114
