Joseph Christopher Keefe

I was fortunate to take American Literature I and II with Dr. Keefe. I enjoyed those classes. In class he was soft spoken, calm, and nice. The two blue covered, thick American Lit textbooks we used are still on my shelf today. I went on to get a Master´s Degree and teach school for 35 years, but those are the only college books I kept. I can pick one up any day and find something I want to read. Thank you, Dr. Keefe. RIP. Nancy Beckert Chando

I had the honor taking SUNY Ulster classes with Dr. Keefe. He was a remarkable professor whose love of literature was inspiring. Dr. Keefe was encouraging and kind and had a deep influence on me. My condolences to his family.
