Joseph Scott King

Joseph Scott King, 49, of Bethlehem Township, formerly of Wilson Borough, passed away peacefully Monday, December 8, 2025, at his home in his wife's arms.
Born March 27, 1976, in Easton, PA, he was the son of Dale King and his companion Ronnie Shaffer, of Glendon Borough, and Amy (Schippers) McWilliams and her husband John, of Williams Township.
He was loved and cared for 25 years by his wife, TajLynne (Banghart) King, whom he married on April 20, 2000.
Joe graduated from Wilson Area High School where he was a wrestler.
He was a proud father and loved his children. Joe enjoyed playing Nintendo DS, Tetris and Super Mario Bros. He liked having control of the TV remote and loved his ice cream. Joe enjoyed playing cards, especially UNO with his family and WAR with his mom. In his younger years, Joe was passionate about riding motorcycles and enjoyed grilling and playing quoits.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Tyler King and his companion Lynnette Patterson, of Easton, Brooke King, of Nazareth, Gwendalyn King and her companion Robert Smeltz, of Ephrata, and Cameron King, at home; two grandchildren, Nova Raine King and Myla Jo Scott; a brother, David King and his wife Amy, of Williams Township; a sister, Sarah King and her companion Fred Hoppock, of Glendon; his maternal grandmother, Jessie I. Cunningham, of Williams Township; his mother-in-law, Patrice (Roscioli) Banghart, of Palmer Township; a sister-in-law, AjaLeigh Siegfried, of Palmer Township; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Maynard King, Sr. and Minnie (Mammana) King, and his father-in-law, Arthur G. Banghart.
Services will be held at 11am Tuesday, December 16th, in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Monday 4-6pm and Tuesday 10-11am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
