Joseph "Jay" Matthew Kuder, III, age 69, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, at his home in Moorestown, New Jersey. Born on May 1, 1956, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jay was a proud graduate of Moorestown High School, Class of 1974. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from Lycoming College in 1978, where he met his college sweetheart later marrying her in 1980. Jay dedicated his professional life to the specialty food industry. He began his career at Haddon House, where he worked for over two decades. His passion and expertise led him to RAOS Specialty Foods in Manhattan, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. After more than 20 years of leadership and commitment to excellence at RAOS, he retired in 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Karen Kuder (née Kapitan); his daughter Jessica Kuder Ison and her husband Josh; his son Joseph M. Kuder IV; and his cherished granddaughter Emma Lynn Ison. He is also survived by his sisters Margaret Kuder Dunkirk and Karen Kuder Larue (Robert), along with numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. Jay was predeceased by his parents, Joseph M. Kuder Jr. and Margaret Kuder (née Bird). A man of many passions, Jay was an Eagle Scout and a lifelong avid reader. He found great joy in spending time with his family and was known for being present whenever someone needed him-especially those closest to him. A devoted fan of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack era, he rarely missed "Fridays with Frank" or "Sundays with Sinatra," often sharing that love through music-filled moments with loved ones. Jay lived by the motto: "Live every day like it is your last." His warmth, generosity, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church 101 Bridgeboro Rd. Moorestown, NJ. A Viewing will be held on September 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Moorestown Library, 11 W 2nd St, Moorestown, NJ 08057.
