I met Joe in 1972 in Minneapolis. We have been friends since. He worked hard all of his life and kept on learning and giving every day of his life. His smile and humor made him unique. As hard as it is to realize he's gone from this earth he deserves to rest without pain now.

It was really shocking to hear about the death of my friend Joe. It is not only a loss for your family but a big loss for me as well. I met Joe when I was 22 year old at Valley regional Hospital, when I was working there. He gave me so much support and advise through out the years. I had the opportunity to work with Joe once again at the University were he and I work in several events. know I am 58 year old and will always remember his words and I will surely miss my Friend... My heartfelt sympathies are there with your family.

Dear Joe... dear Friend. I remember so well how kind and generous you were to so many of your colleagues, friends, students, and to me. I'll miss you terribly here on earth, but have many wonderful memories of our friendship locked in my heart, until I see you soon, Ol' friend! God bless you and your family, Joe!

Joe Lacher was a wonderful person, a close friend and colleague. He was a wonderful role model for the nurses he educated and the nurses that he worked with. I extend my condolences to his bloodline family and his extended family and friends. Although his passing leaves a void in our lives, he has entered a precious place with our Lord and Savior. May the Lord grant comfort, peace and love to all who are impacted by his heavenly journey.

To the family of Joe. I became aware of Joe's passing today in Minnesota. I would like to extend my condolences to his families and close friends of Joe. We did not cross paths much as adults because of distance but he is in my prayers. Cousin Karl.
