I worked with Joe at Kidder, Peabody. He could be funny and yet had a strong work ethic. If you broke his concentration he would let you know. I smile thinking about a time at Christmas>

Rest in Peace, Joe, in the perfect light of our Lord's eternal love.

I worked with Joe for many years at Kidder Peabody on Wall Street. He was a great guy, dedicated to his work and enjoyed a drink out now and then. I think of him often, especially on this somber date. We will never forget Joe and all the other brave souls who died and suffered because of that day. God bless America.

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

As we approach the fifth anniversary of that horrible day, I can still see Joe aka Long Nose by all his beloved Kidder Krew with a coctail in hand on one of many trips to West Point. My dad Les, God rest his soul was a good friend of Joe's.

I used to work with Joe on Wall St., at Kidder Peabody. Joe was a funny guy, always willing to help you, but could give you an ear full when you bothered him. God Bless you, Joe.

Joe:

It has been a year since you were taken from us. We all miss you a great deal including your grand neice Rebecca who will never have the chance to know or love you.

Your friends worked very hard and got a Race named after you at Belmont Park on May 18th. All your friends attanded with their families to join our family to honor you.

I was at the Trade Center on Wednesday the 11th and got a look at the devastation brought upon us. I could feel that your spirit was with me that day, as your name was read aloud for all the world to hear.

You will never be forgotten and will be in my Heart and prayers for as long as I live.

God bless you, my only Brother, Rest in peace with God and his angels.

Say hello to Mom and Dad for me I miss you all so much.

Until we meet again,

Your Brother Dom

Joe was a very quiet mild mannered human being. He was a dedicated worker, hard working and always eager to learn something new. He spent all of his working life on Wall Street working for Kidder Peabody for over twenty years. He loved the work and loved the people he worked with. He was the type of guy you could rely on for any help that was needed.

I can still remember that little boy that I tried to protect when we were little. It's hard to comprehend this turn of fate that was handed him he deserved much more.

Joe was the last member of my immediate family there are no other siblings. All I have now is some good memories of the time we spent together as children and as adults. He will be in my heart forever.

Rest in Peace Joe, Mom and Dad are waiting for you.

I've been reading all of the short bios in the New York Times, hoping I wouldn't know anyone. But today, 1/22/02, there is Joe looking at me from the paper. I worked with him at Kidder,Peabody in the 1970's and ran into him several times afterward. I enjoyed many laughs and a few drinks with Joe and am sorry to see that he is gone. Sleep well, Joe.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
