Joe was born in Anniston, Alabama on February 28, 1958. He was a man of remarkable
intelligence, curiosity, and quiet compassion. His wisdom was matched by his humility and
kindness. He had a profound love for animals and was known for his compassion toward them,
often rescuing pets in need, offering them safety, love, and a second chance. His empathy
extended to all living beings, and his kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew
him.
In his spare time, he found joy in playing guitar. His presence was a comfort, his mind a marvel,
and his heart a treasure to those fortunate enough to know him. He was deeply loved and will be
dearly missed by his family members.
A service will be held at Best Funeral Services on September 27 th at 11:00 with a reception to
follow.
