Joseph A. Meoli

Joseph A. Meoli, 80, of Norristown, died Sunday, March 15, 2009. Husband of the late Florence (Cerio) Meoli. Born in Norristown on Feb. 24, 1929, he was the son of the late Pellegrino William and Caroline (Neve) Meoli. Joseph was a member of Holy Savior RC Church of Norristown. He was a retired welder from Hale Pump of Conshohocken. He was a member of Holy Savior Club and Mt. Carmel Club, where he was a former bartender. He played in a band, Al Rex and the Royal Tones. He also enjoyed fishing and playing cards. He is survived by daughters, June M. Perry of Spring City, Kathleen J. (and David) Perry of East Norriton, Diane D. (and John) Campbell of West Conshohocken; step sons, Larry W. (and Cheryl) Meoli of Conshohocken, Kenneth Cagliola of Norristown; brother, Julian 'Jiggers' Meoli of Norristown; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His funeral mass will be held Friday, March 22 at 9:30 am from the Holy Savior RC Church, 407 East Main Street, Norristown with Msgr. Charles L. Sangermano officiating. Friends may call Thursday, March 19 from 7 to 9 pm and Friday, March 20 from 8 to 9 am at the Moore & Snear Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton.
