Joseph Milisits Jr., 65, of Lower Burrell, passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Nov. 28, 1959, in New Kensington, he is the son of the late Joseph and Mary Massarelli Milisits Sr. Joe had been employed for many years through the Laborers Union 373 and Operating Engineers Union 66 as a welder. He enjoyed boating and spending time with his family and grandchildren and was a second-degree black belt in taekwondo. Survivors include his daughter, Angel (Bryan) Rayburg of Tarentum. Two sons, Nicholas (Sara) Milisits of Apollo and Slade Lindgren of Pittsburgh. Six grandchildren, Jade (Tony) Stigliano, Kolbe Palermo, Kaden Palermo, Mykaela Palermo, and River and Ivy Milisits; two great-grandchildren, Tatum Stigliano and Enzo Palermo. His sister, Sandy (Justin) Gordon of Chicago, IL; and a brother, David (Dee) Milisits of Las Vegas, NV; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Molly Frank. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, in DUNMIRE-KERR & ROWE FUNERAL HOME INC., 244 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift.
