Joseph P. Miserendino, age 78, Beloved husband of Linda nee Dumele for 40 years; Loving father of Jacalyn Miserendino, Joseph A. Miserendino, Michael J. Miserendino, and Anthony F. (Ricki) Miserendino; Cherished grandfather of Dominic, Vincent, Giovanni, Roma, and Siena, and great-grandfather of Lorenzo; Dear brother of Charles, Peter, and Maryann; Adoring uncle to many nieces and nephews; Fond father-in-law of Tony Robles and brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to many. Dear son of the late Peter and Jeanette Miserendino. Visitation Wednesday, December 18, 3:00-8:00 pm at The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Rd. (at Prospect), Itasca. Family and friends will meet Thursday, December 19th for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Saint Peter the Apostle Church, 551 N. Rush Street, Itasca. Interment private. My condolences go out to the family of Joe. I had the pleasure of knowing Joe through coaching with him with our boys years ago. He was a funny, upbeat, energetic, caring man who loved his family very much. We had many laughs back then and I will always remember him with fond memories. RIP Joe and may God bless your family in these trying times.
