Joseph Michael Morris, 71, of Perryville, MD, passed away at his home after a brief illness on January 1, 2026.
Born February 25, 1954 in Baltimore, he was the eldest of three children born to Anna (Dolly) and Ellis (Whitey) Morris.
Known by most as Bubba, he lived his life to the fullest and on his own terms. He enjoyed gardening, working on his hobby farm and riding his Harley. More recently, he looked forward to his weekly outings to Laid Back Lennys for tacos and steamed crabs with his lifelong friend Chip Wagerman. He was a Bethlehem Steel retiree and a huge supporter of Wounded Warriors.
He was preceded in death by both parents, his brothers, Johnny & Jimmy Morris and his longtime partner of 23 yrs, Patricia Hurst.
He is survived by his two dogs, that he absolutely adored, Rascal & Max and many, many friends.
There will be a celebration of life in his honor in the near future, TBD.
