Joseph Morrow Obituary
Joe was best known for his work as a health and safety officer for various Corp of Engineer projects around the Fairbanks and Delta areas. He was also known as "Safety Joe" on his work sites. He finally got to retire in January 2023 and enjoyed meeting new friends while playing video games online, and of course, watching the Minnesota Vikings whenever they played. Joe was happy in the warmer weather and one of his favorite things was watching sunrises and sunsets with his wife.
Joe leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Kelly Seekatz; his three children, Sabrina Davis (Brian), Steven Morrow, Corey Morrow (Kara), and foster daughter Nichol McCrary (Terry); grandchildren, Tyler (Carmen), Brandon and Emily Davis, Paxson and Aislyn Morrow, and Page and Terrance McCrary; great-grandchildren, Kenneth and Clay Davis; his sisters, Su Kay (Morrow) and Kelly Burke (Jim); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nikki Morrow and Joseph Robert Morrow Sr. (Sandy).
There will be a service followed by a small reception at 2 p.m. Dec. 2, 2023, at Blanchard Family Funeral Home, 611 Noble St., Fairbanks, AK.

You were a good man Joey. We grew up in Lakeview Terrace and I am proud to call you a friend. While the rest of us Lakeview Freaks were getting in trouble, you took care of your family. You had to grow up fast. Taking care of your Mom and your sisters. But I never heard you complain. Your family was always your priority and you did a fine job. Happy Trails my old friend. Kelly, I was so sad to hear about Joey´s passing. We graduated together and if you remember I was your advertising rep at the News-Miner when you owned Fairbanks Fire and Safety. I remember coming to see you guys and I could never get out of the business without having a conversation about our Vikings. We joked about their purple and gold colors matching Lathrop´s colors! You are in my prayers Kelly as well as the rest of the family. Rest in peace my Joey!
