I was so saddened to read of Joe's passing while I was away. Joe worked with my mom in the Holyoke schools and was such a nice man.

I'm so sorry you are once again experiencing the loss of your dear parent. It's difficult singularly and I'm sure more so doubly while you still bear the sorrow of losing your mom. Friends mourn with you. God bless.

Joe was a great fellow. I was a college student who had a summer job reading with young children. He used to move the Bookmobile around to different locations. What a kind person he was with a terrific sense of humor.

Mr. Mulvaney as I always called him was a custodian at peck school when it first opened. I was a first year teacher, he was a go to guy for me and a dear man who I held great affection for. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Barbara Stankievtz Pasternak

Maureen, Joe and Sean. It was so sad to read of your Dad's passing. I worked with Joe at Metcalf School many years ago and I could always count on him to brighten my day. He always had newspaper pictures ready to show us-----ones that he "doctored" with the heads of the establishment, if you know what I mean. Such a great wit. Such a great man. Know now that he is happy with is most loved Mary.

Maureen, Joe and Sean, I am so very very sorry to hear this. I will always remember your dad and his special gift of teaching us all at the Y. I can still see him walking up and down the lanes, chewing gum and being encouraging. I am so very sorry for your loss.
