Joseph Pinner Obituary

Joseph was born in Newport News on September 22, 1967. He attended Newport News public schools. Joe worked in HVAC, construction, and lawn maintenance. He then spent a number of years working for the Town of Smithfield Water Authority and later the City of Roanoke Water Works.
He was a talented musician, playing drums, guitar, bass, and banjo.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Beyers Pinner of Roanoke, his first wife, Jill Peters Pinner of Smithfield, and many lifelong friends.
Private interment will be alongside his parents at Oakland Christian Church, Chuckatuck, Virginia.
A celebration of life will be held at Shelter #1, Deer Park, Newport News on Saturday, October 4th, 12-3 pm. Please bring your own lunch, an instrument if you play one, and your photos and memories of Joe.
