My Uncle Butch was a kind and generous man. My youth was shaped in no small measure by the countless cookouts that he and my Aunt Anne hosted--first taste of kielbasa, swimming in their pool and playing tag with my cousins. He always had a hearty greeting when you walked into his house that was accompanied by an inviting smile that let you know instantly you were welcome. The generosity he displayed and the love he freely gave to me and my family made my life all the richer and I shall miss him dearly.
