Joseph Pogson Obituary
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph Nelson Pogson and Alice (Seitz) Pogson.
Joe graduated from Perkiomen Valley High School. He was a long-time employee at American Machine & Tool in Royersford where he worked as a machinist. Joe was an active member of the Masons for many years and following in his father's footsteps became Past Master of the Stichter Lodge No. 254 in Pottstown. He was a skilled shooter and enjoyed competitive trap shoots at Lower Pottsgrove Gun Club. Joe loved boating and spending time with his nephew, Jeffrey and his family.
Surviving along with his wife JoAnn, is his sister Susan Kratz; sister Carol (Pogson) Smoll; brother Gary Pogson; and nephew Jeffrey Kratz.
At this time, services will be held privately by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association (https://www.lung.org/) in Joseph's name.
We celebrate his life and memory as Family. Rest in the peace of Christ, Joe.
