Joseph Polaro Obituary
TROY - Joseph John
Polaro, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, with his loving family by his side. Joseph was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Polaro. He was the devoted husband of over 45 years to Margaret Polaro.
He worked as a printer with Boyd Printing in Albany for 35 years until his retirement.
Joseph was a member of the Vagabond Club in Green Island for many years, he enjoyed bowling, was an devoted sports fan, loved the Jets and the Dodgers. He loved watching old western movies, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Freddy Polaro; and his cousin, Joseph Falasco.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Margaret; his daughters, Kimberly and Debra (Anthony Macon) Polaro; his siblings, Anthony Polaro, Marion Cortesi and Richard (Sandra) Polaro. He is the proud grandfather of Aneesia Faye, Alaunna Macon and Darian Macon. He is also survived by many close family members and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, N.Y., on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet, N.Y.

Our deepest sympathies to the extended Polaro family. Dave has fond memories of bowling with "Cheech" at the Green Island Lanes. Unfortunately we won´t be able to attend the services as we are traveling til mid March. Our prayers are with you.
