Joe was more than a friend to our family, he was a family member to us for over 40 years. He was dearly loved by all of the Rudy Alvarado family in San Antonio, Texas. I had been trying to get in touch with him since he left San Antonio in late june or july and I sensed that he was gone. We extend our condolonces to the Rapier family. Our hearts are broken by the loss of Joe whom we desrly loved. We will carry him in our hearts forever. Love, Vera Alvarado and family. P.S. we just saw the obituary this evening 11/1/22

I was a substitute secretary for the Catholic Church Joe worked as the business mgr. He had a great sense of humor and we shared some amusing stories of growing up in the northeast. I am originally from Phila., so we enjoyed teasing w/the dry humor of easterners.
