Joseph Michael Robinson

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Joseph Michael Robinson, age 68 of Savannah, GA who passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2024. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Diane Robinson, two daughters, Stacy (James Johnston) and Katherine (Zachary Gaspard) as well as his three grandchildren, Robert Michael Johnston (predeceased), James Emry Johnston and Charlotte Johnston.

Joseph grew up and lived in Savannah, Georgia along with his mother, the late Jane Starrs Robinson, father, the late Robert E. Robinson and three siblings, Dorothy Smith, Kathleen Ansley and the late Robert Robinson near Bacon Park in Savannah. Joseph graduated high school from Jenkins High and attended Armstrong State University.

Joseph pursued a career in management where his passion for leading teams and influencing lives was fulfilled and was employed for over 40 years with Havertys Furniture Company. Joseph loved being outside and enjoyed hobbies that always put him in the sunshine. When Joseph was not working, everyone knew he would be heading to Walt Disney World where he was always surrounded by family and friends. He was also an avid golfer in his spare time and enjoyed playing with friends and family.

The family will receive friends from 12 o'clock to 1 o'clock in the afternoon, Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Gamble Funeral Service- 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah. Joseph's funeral service will follow at 1 o'clock. Father Patrick O'Brien will officiating. Burial in Greenwich Cemetery following services..
