Joseph Ronca Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Casper Funeral & Cremation Services on May 16, 2025.
Joseph A. Ronca, a cherished member of the Quincy, Massachusetts (formerly South Boston) community, passed away on May 10th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and devotion to family. Born in Boston on August 15th, 1940, Joseph was the beloved son of Joseph Ronca and Margaret (O'Neil).
Joseph was the devoted husband of the late Sandra Ronca (Lehto), with whom he shared a life of dedication and partnership. He was a loving father to his son Joseph Ronca and his wife Christine, and to his late daughter Debra Burke. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Sandra Gurley and her husband Paul, whom he cared for deeply.
As a doting grandfather, Joseph's pride and joy were his grandchildren: Joseph and Alyssa Ronca, Joseph Burke, and Paul and Megan Gurley, who will always remember his love and humor.
Joseph held a steadfast bond with his siblings. He was a loyal brother to Mary Ronca and Patrick Ronca, who along with his wife Eileen, mourn his loss. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Michael, Margaret, Leo, Edward, and Francis Ronca and his two stepsons Alan and William Morin. Joe will be forever remembered by the many nieces and nephews who survive him and hold his legacy close to their hearts.
Joseph's life was a testament to family, connection, and enduring love. His kindness and loyalty will be fondly remembered by all who knew him, and his presence will be dearly missed.
Joseph chose a private graveside service alongside his wife in Troy New Hampshire. May they rest in eternal peace.
