Dear Joe, Eileen, Colleen, & Jen,
There aren't enough words to express our deepest sympathy to you. Joe was a very special person. He touched everyone who met him. It's not surprising, he was raised by two very special people. We will miss him very much. Our prayers are with you all. Love, Gloria and Dan

Thank you for all the work you did in our house. We will miss Joe Silva Carpenter. Thank you for giving us a unique view on world events. Thank you for chats while sitting on the back of your pickup truck. We'll miss the funny stories of the people you encountered during your work. Thank you most of all for being a loving husband Colleen.
In closing "Did you say you were making coffee?"

To our nephew Joe,
We have always been so very proud of you. You have accomplished so much in your short life.
We always enjoyed being with you and Colleen and the many stories you had to tell.
We always looked forward to seeing you in the mornings when you came to do work for us. Everyone must feel the same way.
We will all miss you so much Joe and never, never forget you. We love you, Your Godparents, Uncle Bob and Aunt Judy

Even though Uncle Joe was married into the family, I can't remember a time when he ever acted like it. Even when Kevin and I were very young and the two of you were just dating, he was eager to spend time with us. I always thought of you two as "the fun" aunt and uncle, who came hiking and ice skating with us kids. I still remember going to the haunted house and having to go back a second time because the line was so long, and in the end I only hid my face in Joe's shoulder as he had to carry me through the "terrifying" maze of monsters. Joe was always ready with a joke and a bag of candy to share. May the way Joe lived his life be an example to us all: Live life to the fullest, laugh, play, and always save room for junk food. :)
Love, Renee

Dear Aunty Eileen, Uncle Joe, Jennifer and Colleen,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Please find peace in knowing how much you were loved by Joe and especially in how much you loved him. There is a special bond between a child and his parents, a brother and a sister and a husband and wife. That bond will never be broken with you.
This just goes to show that God only takes the best. Joe was the BEST. May he rest in peace. We love you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. We lived on Bramble Way with our two boys prior to moving out of the area. I will always remember Joseph as a wonderful and caring young man. May you receive comfort and strength from your faith during this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Joe was a great carpenter and more importantly a wonderful person. I so much enjoyed our talks on how to solve the world's problems as he worked on the many projects at our house. Having just lost my wife in June I know how you feel. She also loved talking to Joe as he worked. May your memories bring you comfort.
