Earlier today
My sister Esther & I met Joe a few years ago when he needed help with his feral cats. We ended up trapping the mother cat, who we named Diana, and her 2 sets of kittens. All were eventually adopted. The reason they were all adopted so easily is because of the time Joe took with them, feeding, socializing and loving them.
We were unable to trap the mother & grandmother named Calleigh at that time.
In December of 2024 we got a call from Joe. Because of his failing health, he was concerned about Calleigh and her 2 sets of kittens. He was afraid of not being able to care for them during the winter. He had shelters for them right next to his house, but was afraid with snow it would be difficult.
Over a few days we were able to get all of them even the elusive Calleigh, who had lived outside for 8 or 9 years.
Calleigh would bring her kittens over to Joe's when they were old enough and he would care for all of them.
These cats are the nicest cats, thanks to you Joe Silva and will be staying with us because we love you Joe so much and love them.
You Joe Silva are the kindest, most generous man we have had the pleasure of meeting.
We love you and Diana and are so lucky to have met you.
With much love
Eleanor and Esther Menz
